About Monday

is a new Dutch label with a sustainable and contempory approach. Paulien de Vries and Esther Blaffert have combined their feel for interior design and style with the expertise obtained in Friday next studio. This resulted in pieces that are not just beautiful to look at, but are made to be used. About Monday stands for a grounded look on life. The world around us can be hectic and busy.  About Monday wishes to bring a sense of relativity and humor to your home with products that are designed to be light on their feet and distinguished.

The wood that is used for the CITYWOOD table is obtained in an environmentally friendly way. The wood originates from trees that are cut in The Netherlands and is dried naturally by the wind. The way the tables are made ensures as little waste as possible. The legs of the table have been specially designed for the table. The shape is derived from the base of cast iron lathes from the 19th century. The legs are made of recycled aluminium.
Designed with Albert van Iperen.

The Boho decorative cushions are the newest edition to the About Monday label. Carefully selected fabrics from the French quality brand Casamance have been used. The fabric combinations ensure great ways of combining the different types of cushions. Bring the colourful boho chic look into your home with these beautiful cushions.
